Starting your own business can be challenging, especially for first time business owners. If you’re ready to take the next step and explore turning your idea into a real business opportunity, then this is the workshop for you. By the end of this workshop you’ll be well informed about the “next steps” in navigating the entrepreneurial landscape to move your business idea forward. Delivered by our own experienced Business Advisors, you’ll go through the process of what you need to consider, and do, to launch a successful business in Vermont. Highlights: learn to use effective tools such as the “Business Model Canvas” to create your value proposition and make your business stand out from others in the marketplace; learn how to register your business; consider startup costs, expenses, and financing options. You’ll also gain practical tips, work with business tools, get some of your questions answered, plus network with others going into business. If you have just started your business but you want to be sure you are on the right path you are welcome to attend this workshop. To learn more about the workshop and what is covered, please visit “I’m Starting a Business” found as a dropdown from the “Find Your Advisor” tab on our website.
